“Now anything is possible,” says orthodontist using 3Shape digital orthodontic solutions

Now anything is possible says orthodontist

Copenhagen, May 15, 2015 – 3Shape will present its latest digital orthodontic CAD/CAM solutions at AAO 2015 Annual Session, tomorrow, May 16.
3Shape will showcase its latest digital orthodontic solutions at AAO, including:

TRIOS® 3 digital impression solution

The new version of its award-winning intraoral scanner, TRIOS® 3 features a small scanning tip and is shaped in a pen grip design. The intraoral scanner is unique in that it delivers RealColor™ digital impressions, provides automatic occlusion capture in real-time, and never uses powder.

TRIOS® integration with leading orthodontic solution providers

Orthodontists using TRIOS® can take advantage of integrations with orthodontic solution providers like 3M Incognito, ClearCorrect, SureSmile and others, as well as TRIOS® Ready labs, to send digital impressions and case information with just a click from their TRIOS®.

New R-Series of lab scanners

3Shape will present its new range of lab scanners for orthodontic labs. The new lab scanners include the revolutionary R2000 scanner that simultaneously scans two models in occlusion in one scan. The new 3Shape benchtop scanners feature a larger interior and blue light scanning technology for faster scanning time and improved and ISO-documented accuracy.

Ortho Analyzer™ and Ortho Planner™ software

Shape Ortho Analyzer™ and Ortho Planner™ software integrate clinical patient data, including intraoral and CBCT scans. Enabling orthodontists and technicians to analyze and plan treatments simply and accurately in 3D for optimal patient outcome. The software can also be used to create digital study models.

Digital indirect bonding to be introduced

3Shape will introduce its digital indirect bonding solution at AAO. The solution enables the accurate placement of vestibular brackets on the patient’s malocclusion with the help of real-time collision detection tools. It is presently pending FDA 510(k) approval.

Appliance Designer™ software

3Shape Appliance Designer™ software allows orthodontic labs to CAD/CAM design and manufacture clear aligners, night guards, retainers, palatal expanders and more. Appliance Designer™ outputs open STL files so labs can choose to manufacture appliances in-house or externally depending on their set up.
