SUBSCRIPTION RENEWAL

As of 2022, subscriptions can be administrated directly with 3Shape. This is the case for TRIOS Care service agreements and legacy CliniCare subscriptions in the USA, Canada, Germany, France, Italy, Spain or Great Britain. If you are experiencing issues with your TRIOS subscriptions renewal, it may be related to your subscription and service relation being moved from your reseller to 3Shape. If you are not in any the countries listed above, you should contact your reseller for any subscription-related issues.

HOW TO PURCHASE

Where do I find pricing information?

The price of an intraoral scanner or other 3Shape solution depends on several factors. Do you want a scan-only solution? Or do you need additional software for treatment planning? Do you plan to scan at every visit? Or do you intend to use it for crown and bridge cases only? 3Shape offers two ways to get a quote: you can generate your own quote directly in our webshop, or you can enter a dialogue to get a quote that is tailored to your needs by reaching out to your preferred reseller.

How do I buy a 3Shape product?

There are two ways to purchase: you can either buy TRIOS directly in our webshop, or get in touch with a sales representative in your area. Our partnership with specialized representatives ensures you can always get 1-1 consulting from someone close to you. Shipping time for our products varies from product to product. For any questions related to demo requests, or product and pricing information, fill out your details and the designated regional sales representative will get in touch with you.

Can I download 3Shape software online?

Purchasing 3Shape software is done via our network of sales representatives. Upon purchase, your reseller will provide you with a dongle, which then holds all your subscriptions and makes it easy to update and upgrade.

Hardware and software requirements

What are the minimum hardware and software requirements for 3Shape products?

The PC is an important part of the overall 3Shape system. It is the engine on which the software is run, and consequently the software puts some requirements on the PC. Our sales representatives can advise you on the specific PCs that work on a specific combination of 3Shape products. What is 3Shape's recommendation on upgrading to Windows 11?

Our software development team is currently testing the compatibility of our systems (TRIOS, Dental Desktop, Ortho System and Dental System) with the new Microsoft Windows 11. Because we are still assessing compatibility, we recommend that you wait with upgrading to Windows 11 until we have completed testing. By holding off, we can ensure the stability of your systems. 3Shape 3D viewer

Does 3Shape offer a 3D viewer?

Our 3D files can be opened and exported as .DCM, .PLY and .STL files. Standard .STL files can be read and opened by most 3D viewers that are available online. We also offer a free 3Shape 3D viewer if you want to open TRIOS .DCM files on a PC without 3Shape software. This can be useful if you want to preview scans including all the additional information such as color, for example. In order to get started, you need to download the 3Shape 3D Viewer installation file.

Where can I get support?

If you need support with getting started with our products, onboarding training and how-to guides, we recommend getting on to our online user platform – 3Shape Community. This digital dentistry support portal consists of 10,000 3Shape users and our product experts who actively help each other out on a daily basis.

For 3Shape resellers, the Partner Portal offers a wealth of information on products and upgrades, troubleshooting and presentation material.

NEW FEATURES AND UPGRADES

How can I upgrade to the latest software version?

Upgrading your software is done via your reseller. Not all software updates get approved in all regions at the same time. That’s why we recommend first checking whether you’re eligible for an upgrade by checking the ‘subscription status’ in your software. To perform the upgrade, contact your reseller for help.

Where can I find information about new features and updates?

If you are an existing user looking for the most up to date product status, we recommend going into 3Shape Community where we list all the latest features that are included with the newest version of our software.

OTHER

How can I send cases to Invisalign?

For TRIOS users outside the US, we offer a course that teaches you how to submit TRIOS cases to Invisalign. Taking this course will certify you to send TRIOS cases to Invisalign. Access to the training is limited to authorized (non US) users only. Signing up can be done through 3Shape Academy.
