Case Study: Immediate implant placement and restoration using a modeless digital workflow
26-year-old male patient with traumatic injury to tooth 11 and unrestorable is assessed for an implant crown.
PREVIEW OF THE CASE
- Implant planning based on IO and CBCT data. Intraoral surface and CBCT scans are combined to plan the implant treatment and for surgical guide design and production.
- Using surgical guide. No flap is raised, the tooth extracted atraumatically. A fully guided osteotomy and implant is placed using surgical guide and NobelActive guide kit.
- Healing abutment placement. After scanning the scan body, a healing abutment is placed on the implant.
- Temporary crown delivery. Milled screw-retained PMMA crown placed 2 hours post-surgery.
