No more time-consuming emails and big file uploads. Depending on your 3Shape product and software version, you work with an online (Communicate) or cloud-based (Unite Cloud) collaboration tool to seamlessly share scans and case information with your partner.

Communicate portal

For TRIOS customers up until Unite 23.1 and dental labs using Dental System, 3Shape Communicate is the collaboration platform. You log into the portal with your 3Shape Account.

3Shape Unite Cloud

For TRIOS customers on 3Shape Unite 24.1 and newer, Unite Cloud offers the ultimate lab collaboration experience, from the cloud, on any device.

Introducing 3Shape Unite Cloud

With 3Shape Unite Cloud, cloud-based app and web portal, you can make your patient cases accessible on any device – mobile, tablet and web. Everything you do on 3Shape Unite instantly becomes available in 3Shape Unite Cloud, and vice-versa, allowing you to always stay up to date on your cases, easily review your lab’s design proposals and communicate with your partners anywhere with internet connection.

Data security and privacy

3Shape Communicate is HIPAA and GDPR compliant, meaning safeguards and controls have been employed to ensure confidentiality, integrity, and availability of your data. In accordance with EU and US data standards, Communicate always stores data (including ePHI) in the server in the same geographical region as the data owner.
