3Shape TRIOS Software keeps improving for better functionality. The denture workflow has now been improved with two new scan types to support additional types of edentulous cases. In addition to the existing scan types ‘Edentulous,’ ‘Intraoral’ and ‘Copy Denture,’ users now also have the choice of selecting the two new scan types ‘Reference Denture’ and ‘Existing Teeth.’

Solved issues

The following reported issues have been solved in this release:

In Zoom mode scanning, sub-scans register wrongly, resulting in overlapping areas on the scan.
After the scanner is disconnected an error message appears with “NullReferenceException” resulting in 3DD crashing.
Users can see an error when selecting another scanner from the Scanner Management tray.
When using the toggle annotation button in the margin tool, an annotation from the opposite jaw is shown on the analyze page.
