Great news for dental practices. The Dentrix® Patient Management platform is integrating with 3Shape’s TRIOS® intraoral scanner.
The integration, powered by Digital Dental Exchange (DDX) OS – a web-based service, marks the first time that the Dentrix patient management platform Version 6.1 integrates with a digital impression solution.
Dentrix practices using TRIOS can now insert the digital color impressions directly into Dentrix patient charts, which can then be automatically transferred to the TRIOS system when doctors begin new cases with TRIOS.
Dentrix users can also open TRIOS scans of patients from within the patient management system to gain a comprehensive view of the patient’s billing information and clinical history – all from one digital platform.
Having the data easily available from one platform will help doctors to run their practice more efficiently and productively as well as give them the opportunity to improve patient dialogue and enhance customer experience.
Other benefits of the integration include eliminating the need for re-entering patient data, having stronger case and patient documentation, improving communication with labs, and viewing TRIOS 3D color scans on any PC in the practice’s network.
More than 35,000 practices in the states currently use the Dentrix software.
