Copenhagen, February 4th 2009 - 3Shape A/S, a world wide leader in 3D scanners and CAD/CAM software solutions, now launches the CAM application CAMbridge™ introducing an opportunity for dental and ear device laboratories to implement major process automation.

While dental and ear device laboratories might spend significant time and resources on preparing files for production, the new CAMbridge™ presents an opportunity to save production time and money through automation of these processes.

Later this year the CAMbridge™ functionality will be introduced as fully integrated features in the upcoming DentalManager Manufacturing Module from 3Shape.

CAMbridge™ is a software module linking 3Shape scanning and CAD software with the manufacturing process. The CAMbridge™ application offers the highest level of automated manufacturing available for dental and ear device laboratories.
