EarMouldDesigner

EarMouldDesigner™ is a unique modeling software package used to transform 3D ear impressions created by a 3Shape 3D scanner into 3D models of earmoulds for BTE hearing aids, headphone, or noise blockers in a few simple steps. The 3D models designed in EarMouldDesigner™ are ready to be manufactured automatically on 3D printing machines as fully ready to use earmoulds typically offering a much improved fit for the user.

• Easily remove artefacts from the scanned impression
• Add/remove material from the scanned ear impression's surface
• Template-based modeling: predefined earmould styles can be applied to the impression. The user can easily modify these templates to optimally fit the given impression. Available earmoulds styles include: skeleton, semi-skeleton, full shell, full shell carved, helix lock, canal lock, canal, etc.
• Customized earmould tip fittings: normal, rounded, bellbore etc.
• Customized ventilation channels styles: regular, trumpet shaped, collection, trench, D-shaped, oval, IROS, user-defined shapes, etc.
• Customizable ID tags and engravings
