3D Last Measurement
Last System The Last Measurement module is used for high-precision analysis and quality control of 3D last. Measures are automatically taken for each last and verified to ensure that the adequate quality levels are met. Linear measures and measure curves may be exported for use by external systems.

Last System3D Last Comparison
The comparison module is used to analyze deviations between two last models. It is possible to compare two 3D scanned lasts, or a 3D scanned last with a CAD model, or other reference model for quality control and shape analysis.

Last System2D Standard Comparison
The 2D Standard Comparison module is used to control that 3D shoe lasts match 2D standards profiles commonly used in the footwear industry.

Last Measurement

  • Automatic measurement: Bottom length, Entrance volume, Heel girth, Joint volume, Ball volume, Instep volume, Lower instep girth, Bottom length, Joint girth, Anatomy.
  • All measurements are stored in the last database included with the Last Manager.
  • A number of user-specific last measures can be implemented by 3Shape into the system to suit specific user requirements.

3D Last Comparison

  • Compare a scanned last with a CAD/CAM last model or another scanned last.
  • Analyze deviations and perform shape analysis.
  • Before comparison, the last models can be aligned automatically or manually.
  • Graphical color difference map with different color and scaling options, such as isocurves or continuous color curves.
  • 2D section profiles of the lasts can be compared to see differences in specific areas of the last.
  • Automatically generated quality reports in WordT to document the analysis.

2D Standard Comparison

  • Quickly verify that a 3D scanned last shape meets 2D standard requirements.
  • Easily identify areas on a last that differ from the 2D last standard profile shape.
  • A 3D last can be aligned with a toe, a shank, or a heel standard.
  • The 2D profile and the 3D last are easily aligned using manual or automatic methods.
  • The deviations between 2D standard profiles and the 3D last model can be displayed using color difference maps or whisker plots.
