The comparison module is used to detect and analyze deviations between 3D last models.

Comparing lasts can be useful for multiple purposes:

• Compare a scanned last with a CAD/CAM last model
• Compare two different lasts to analyze deviations and perform shape analysis
• Compare two scanned lasts for quality control

Automatic or manual model alignment

Before comparison, the last models can be aligned automatically or manually

Graphical color difference map

Highly detailed difference maps allow graphical visualizations of the deviations. To ease the deviation analysis, the user can choose from a number of different color and scaling options, such as isocurves or continuous color curves

2D section comparison

2D section profiles of the lasts can be compared. This gives extra insight in the differences in specific areas of the last

The system automatically generates quality reports in WordT to document the analysis
