3Shape Exhibits at Fakuma 2009

3Shape will participate for the first time at Fakuma 2009.

In mid-October, 3Shape A/S will present its latest products for Quality Control at the International Trade Fair for Plastics Processing: FAKUMA.

3Shape is taking this opportunity to bring awareness to the new 2009 Convince^TM software, as well as the recently developed Q740 3D scanning system.

The Q740 scanner allows users to scan and analyse small, well-defined objects and parts with much higher detail than previously. The scanning process is also very fast, as a result of 3Shape using the advanced 3D measurement tools and predefined macros.

The 2009 Convince^TM software is the next generation of 3Shape's widely acknowledged Convince metrology and scan software. This new release contains several significant improvements in functionality, ease-of-use, and brand new 3D analysis and measurement tools. The Q740 3D scanning system now has two 5.0 Megapixel cameras which push the detail level to a new performance level. Additionally, the system has improved electronics which aid the systems stability and speed.

The combined Convince^TM Q740 system is the only quality inspection system for small parts that is currently on the market. The system is a powerful tool for accurate, fast and advanced scanning and analysis of 3D features.
