3Shape appoints new USA Sales Manager
- expansion of 3Shape North American Operations
New Jersey, USA, 6, May, 2012 - 3Shape infuses further strength into its strategy and presence in North America with the appointment of Mr. Michael Maccaquano as new Sales Manager for our North American Operations. Michael joined our ranks on March 14th, 2011, and will be based at our 3Shape offices in New Jersey.
Well grounded in the dental industry
Michael comes from a position as Sales Specialist within the
dental industry, where he spent 3 years selling both orthodontic
and dental CAD/CAM products, including intraoral scanners, lab
scanners and software. Additionally, he managed his company's
lead-generating system for top outside sales representatives
covering half the US, Puerto Rico and Canada. He was awarded
top-salesman honors in both 2009 and 2010.
Strengthening 3Shape partnerships
At 3Shape, Michael will assist our resellers in selling,
marketing, and representing 3Shape's products, with responsibility
for our major distributors. Michael will be present at conferences
and shows throughout North America to help create more awareness of
3Shape's entire product line and generate quality leads for
resellers to close.
"It is my goal to work on building strategic relationships based on business realities that define today's industry," Michael Maccaguano explained. "I'll be seeking out partnerships that will facilitate both our company's and the partner's growth in both the dental and orthodontic markets."
Michael Maccaquano will report to Mr. Henrik Vestermark, VP Business Development and General Manager for North American Operations. "We are very pleased that Michael has joined 3Shapes's rapidly expanding North American organization," says Henrik Vestermark. "His unique expertise within Orthodontics and intra-oral systems will be a great asset for our expansion in the North American market."
