DentalManager Inbox Module™ is 3Shape’s solution for remote order management and sending. Conceived to meet the needs of manufacturer and data logistic centers of any handling capacity, Inbox Module™ fully integrates with 3Shape Dental System™ allowing complete orders to be transferred safely across networks. No complicated procedure is required for setup, sending or encryption/decryption of the files: all such operations are performed using a user transparent one-button function, which effectively protects user’s sensible data. The Inbox Module™ can receive and manage orders sent using 3Shape’s DentalManager Basic (included in the DentalSystem 2007 and included in the 2007 update). Data transfer occurs using the FTP protocol* and orders can be inspected before importing them into the DentalManager’s database powered by Microsoft SQL™.

Users can monitor the status of their orders in real time, whereas manufacturers can effectively communicate with their customers by sending approval/refusal messages: this is achieved using the Track&Trace function built in the DentalManager’s Inbox Module.
