3D PrintManager™ is a stand-alone application designed to manage and optimize the 3D files used for rapid manufacturing using stereolitography, sintering, milling and 3D printing equipment.
It is a highly versatile tool aimed to rapid prototyping and rapid manufacturing. 3D PrintManager™ smart nesting algorythm allows the user to increase productivity by saving human work, machine time and material. Manufacturing 3D models on rapid manufacturing devices is managed by an fast, automatical and yet very customizable procedure.
It can be used in many different fields, as for hearing aid, dentistry, precision equipment, toys and generally with anything where rapid prototyping can be useful and cost efficient. It works with standard STL files and requires little knowledge and expertise to be operated.
3D PrintManager™ ensures a streamlined production of models on different kind of 3D printers. Using 3Shape's 3D PrintManager™ it is fast and easy to generate optimized supports for models, efficiently arrange the production of a series of models on the printer grid, as well as 3D print reference objects.
3D PrintManager™ fully interfaces with several 3D printer models to:
- Arrange the models on the printer grid using a configurable nesting algorythm
- Generate printable models supports
- Optimize the configuration of the models' supports
- Automatically include a number of reference objects in each printing job
- 2D Preview all objects to 3D print in the software to optmize all configuration parameters
