3Shape does not offer 3D printing equipment, but ensures that its digital hearing aid production system fully interfaces with this equipment.
3D PrintManager™ is a stand-alone version of the software for the management of 3D printed files included in ShellManager™. It is directed at customers who choose not to implement ShellManager but still want the convenience of manufacturing 3D modeled shells optimally and automatically.
3D PrintManager™ ensures a streamlined production of hearing aids shells on stereolithography 3D printers. Using 3Shape's 3D PrintManager™ it is fast and easy to generate supports optimized for the shells, arrange the production of a series of shells on the printer grid, as well as 3D print reference objects.
3D PrintManager™ fully interfaces with the stereolithography 3D printer to:
- Optimize the configuration of the shells' supports
- Generate printable shell supports
- Arrange the shells on the printer grid
- Automatically include a number of reference objects in each printing job
- 3D Preview all objects to 3D print in the software to optmize all configuration parameters
